Theres actually two fans inside each one, thus creating a "Tornado" effect and subsequently suppossed to creat better airflow to the heatsink..... These are somewhat new, but have actually been out a while.

you will be very happy with that cooler. cools my OC'ed 2500+ barton to 3200+ and it runs under 43c almost always except really hot days. (PC room has no AC)
