I didn't bother reading the tech specs, but WTF could it possibly do for you that any quality NIC can't do? You buy a quality NIC and you don't need anything else.

Nothing is going to play better because you buy a NIC that looks like Batman's belt buckle.

But I suppose some idiot will buy it for bragging rights...

Kinda useless, since the decoration is gonna be on the bottom, not the top, with most computer setups.

seems like it would be better to spend that money on upgrading an internet connection or game server colocation.

I saw it on gizmodo, it said it had a 400MGhz proc to take off the CPU, and that it was omptimized for gaming....

So now we're supposed to buy the Killer NIC, 2 video cards, dual core GPUs, a Physics Processing card, 2 Gigs of RAM, 2 hard drives for raid 0 and an X-Fi Fatal1ty sound card, to be competitive when we game online. :P

heh, if you are worried about your cpu being bogged down by your network adapter, you have bigger problems :) This is just a waste of money, 3Com developed a card like this more than 5 years ago, the only benefit is for servers that move alot of data. For gaming, it just isn't an issue.
When all else fails, replace the user.
