it is a 1gig and I can only get it up to around 1160. Lousy POS! it is a green core 2 and that suks even more.

try buying a 1ghz PIII for some oc'n... that is a WASTE
1125mhz on a PIII 1000e and I get 1103mhz on an 800eb (which actually is faster because of the higher bus speed).

mine caught fire after I clocked it back to default

intel is still playing with it before sending me a new one.

I have a purple core I believe and my 1Ghz T-bird is at 1,320 Mhz. I heard bad things about green cores. Sorry you haven't had as much luck as me.
Biohazard, wow that's interesting. I'd be as curious as Intel.

my understanding is Green suks ass, blue is nice, and purple is da king! Ohwell. it was Green or keep my broken one.

I see, glad I was lucky enough to get a purple then. Little or no overclocking is better than not having one at all.

Depends on when it was made, blue/purple come from austin also.
