Just bought 2 disc Glory DVD special edition set... What a dissapointment.
Has anyone else bought this? It's a 2 disc with fullscreen on one and widescreen on the other. Director's audio commentary as well as PIP video commentary by Freeman, Broderick and the director. Also a bunch of other things, that all sound great on paper, but it just doesn't turn out to be so great when you put in the disc.
It's not that it's a really bad DVD set, but it's just not what I expected. This was my first purchase of a TriStar DVD, and it's going to be my last for the forseeable future. I'll make sure I rent them before I buy.
Any other owners out there? What do you think?

I'm suprised you haven't heard of it, but then I was suprised when Danielm7 mentioned that he hadn't either. Strange...
This film won 2 academy awards as well.
I should probably elaborate on my earlier comments. The film is fantastic. The transfer of picture and sound is great. This film has one of the best soundtracks ever. I couldn't ask for anything more, as far as the film itself goes. It's the features that weren't really worth the extra money.
On another note, I can't wait until my Criterion edition of Rushmore arrives. I'll be waxing euphoric about that one in a week or so.

Ok Guste I do remember that film it was very good.
For some reason I was thinking the movie you were talking about was a new release ..it was from 1989 I remember it now. Morgan Freeman is a very good actor.
Did you like Shawshank Redemption with him in it?
