Plenty enough for surfin' the web though. Probably wouldn't want to stream 1080p HD content though.

The first WM I went to were out. Luck for me, we have another one at the other end of town. Got it home and the first I did was to uninstall Norton 2009 Internet Security. Now I'm making recovery disks before I forget. Not a bad laptop for the price. Remember, is for the wife who does not play games.

Unless that Norton was a trial version, you should probably have kept it installed. I've been incredibly impressed by the newer versions. That said, Avira has also impressed me quite a bit after the pop-ups have been disabled.

Might try the MS one once I find it. FP says it was a decent AV app and received good reviews.

figures. thanks, Exec. i might as well live in the boondocks, ~ nothing in my immediate area @ all 'xcept for a small Radio Shack store.
oh well,, i would have sprung for that for hubby, ~ all he would like is something to surf the 'net with, play music and burn CDs, and the price was right for my pocketbook.
i reckon something will spring up again sooner or later : )
