I'm not surprised about I-95 in Florida. I'm also willing to bet that the majority of the I-95 accidents are in South Florida.
They've got the lanes narrowed down so tight in Miami, to squeeze in some xtra lanes, that is often seems you've got inches to spare between the car next to you. And of course everyone is doing 75 MPH in a 55 and cutting across lanes...

There's a small 2 lane highway that we once drove on in '04 in Southern AZ that goes from Tucson to Organ Pipe national park (Hwy 86) that has to be the deadleast for those driving there at night. It's goes through an Indian reservation, near the Mexican border and in that area there is tons of broken beer bottle glass littering both sides of the highway and LOTS of grave markers, like every 20' (on both sides) for miles. I suspect that the Indians drink and drive on that highway during the nights and get in head-on accidents regularly.
I had to turn around and go back because my wife was really getting freaked out over all the markers (many too were regularly maintained with burning candles). I initially tied making light of it but eventually I had to admit that it was pretty strange and didn't exactly feel confortable driving there. We stopped at a gas station for something and they had a wall covered with grave markers, not exactly normal stuff found in gas station.
I still hope to get to Organ Pipe national park someday but I'm not sure how I'll get there otherwise and it's now rumored to be semi dangerous due to border jumpers, etc.
Sometime later she saw that highway mentioned on some TV show as being one of the deadliest highways but I didn't see it on that list above.
