Dish to close rest of its Blockbuster stores in US

Post by renovation »

Times have certainly changed! Today, it was announced hundreds of Blockbuster stores will be closing, including all Michigan locations.

When was the last time you went to a video store to pick up a movie?
I KNOW I USE REDBOX - CAN'T TELL YOU WHEN THE LAST TIME I WAS IN A BLOCKBUSTER/VIDEO STORE . http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/money/business_ ... ores-in-us

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT THEY WERE OWNED BY DISH
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

There's a newer, small, surviving Blockbuster 1 bk from my house and once in a while we'll stop in to find an older DVD not found on Netflix instant. Guess we won't be doing that much longer unless it's one of the 50 that will still remain open.

We have only one Blockbuster that I'm aware of, down from about 10 within 5 miles only 5 years ago. It won't be missed.

They've all been closed around me for some time. Video stores; another victim of the internet!

Between Netflix and Red Box, Blockbuster stores have pretty much become redundant anyways. Haven't been any around here in a long time.
When all else fails, replace the user.
