I was using the Fox35 Orlando weather app for the past 2 years because it's excellent (Weather channel's app blows chunks by comparison).

However, a couple of weeks ago it stopped loading animated radar maps. It would only show realtime. Did this on all my phones (not the tablets though). Cleared memory, uninstalled & re-installed and no joy.

So I did some research and it turns out the Fox35 app is written by a company called WSI and they make their own weather app which is much better supported. The Fox35 app is just an older version of their app that's been rebranded with a different skin.

Their own app is called Intellicast Weather, and it's available for both Android and iOS. Functionally it's very much the same, but if anything it seems to load maps even faster:
