Android L

Post by Genom »

So I went ahead and loaded it on my 2013 Nexus 7. Really liking it a lot. Feels much snappier than 4.4.4 did overall. I also do like the new Material design look.

Coincidentally updated my macbook to Yosemite today and the flat colorful look is pretty similar. I know thats oriented to iOS 8 integration, but happy coincidence.

Now to wait and see who does a port for my S3 and see how that goes.

Factory images are out. Time to get flashing. So much smoother!

What about app compatibility? I tend not to update for a while so I don't break apps. I don't have a lot of them, but the ones I have I need.

Only thing I had to download a beta for was TiBu. What apps do you need? I can check them out, but so far I havent heard of any issues. Ran the preview on my tablet and it's been no issue.

Looks like there's a few glitches - ironically with Nexus devices:

I flashed the factory image manually and have had no problems at all. It's running great.
