I've only seen jet power used on a 1/4 mile straight drag strip here in the USA. This maybe the reason the cars are moving to dam fast to take a turn. Or maybe us Americans are smart enough to know this would happen . 
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

...and the jet powered dragsters are very long and specifically made to handle that kind of power.
