its super easy. U will se an L1 some where. connect the dots that are across from one and other. vala it is unlocked. 900 should be a Nice start. ;) Then jack up the FSB. I have my 650 at 963 thats 9.0*107.

I was the one that sold it.
The pencil marks were off after I cleaned up the
paste before I shipped it to you.
Sorry about that, wasn't expecting to sell to a
newbie.

BTW, I have to send you the certificate and all the rest
that comes with the retail box.

As Greg said, look for the L1 label.

L1 : : : :

then connect each pair (top to bottom)
by running a pencil between the dots a few times.
Make sure to blow on it before checking so you
can be sure of a clean connection.

How permanent is the pencil?

Post by blackhawk »

The conductive pen is used for a more permanent connection. Is that much more difficult other than buying the pen?

how long does the pencil/pen method last? I don't want to keep on having to take off the fan to make more pencil marks again... Is there another way to unlock the cpu?
