Fix for slow Calendar Sync on Android

Since the last major OS upgrade on my phone, and the installation of the new style Google Calendar app, I've had issues with painfully slow syncs of the calendar. I'd add a new appointment, or edit an old one, and the change would take several seconds (as long as 15!) to show up on the display unless I manually refreshed it.

Did some research and this is a known issue caused by the Calendar app not purging stored data after the upgrade.

The fix is simple:

Go to Settings >> Apps >> Calendar and press "Clear cache" and "Clear data".

Open the Calendar app (it will act like it's the first time you're using it) and configure the app settings as you like (any old setting will be lost). Seems to have done the trick for me.
