Yeah baby. I can't wait!! Finally, something will be done about the AWP and the bunny hopping bitches in the game. Among other things like 6 new maps, cheat fixes, etc......

The AWP is the one shot one kill sniper rifle. It's very deadly, as a shot in the pinky finger or pinky toe will kill you even with full armor. The patch will tone it down so you need a body or head shot to one shit kill, and the crosshair is gone in non-zoomed mode, should improve the gameplay hopefully...

Yeah...I heard at last they changing it so you can't be killed by a leg shot

What's the point in buying armour when someone shoots you in the foot and kills you with a couple of rounds.....

Hope I can last a bit longer now...

in the betas the sniper rifle was AWP, many n00bs get confused now since its currently listed as AWM.

Actually I've shot a few hostages in the foot with the AWP/AWM before and they don't die... they survive with 10 life left

I've heard the new dust map sucks.

Very true Cheap, very true. Kinda dates anyone who still calls it that, as opposed to those who say AWM.

From what I have read, and heard on CSRADIO, Gooseman et al, have set the physics so that jumping throws off your aim by a MASSIVE amount. So all these guys the jump in the air while turning a corner, or engaging the enemy are in for a nasty surprise. I like this change. Here we are playing a realistic mod, and these guys run around jumping like Mexican Jumping Beans. Stupid.

I would actually like to see CS take a hint from the new Day of Defeat mod. DOD has a stamina bar that drains _only_ when you jump. Jump twice, and you will have to stand still or crouch for a few seconds to be able to move properly again. This is the best way of dealing with "bunny hoppers" I've seen yet. My opinion anyway

Jumping will only affect the accuracy of SMG's, not rifles. Don't know why, but that's what I read...

Yay the only place that would begin a download for me is zdnet and I'm getting a whole 10 KB a sec! 16MB down a lot more to go... I guess it is a pretty safe assumption that all of the mirrors are getting hammered.
