SNAKES! And it is a paralizing fear for me. We lived in Georgia for awhile where the snakes like to sun themselves on the road. Well pimpin joe has saved my life a couple times simply be grabbing the stiring wheel while I was driving down the road. You see when I screamed and covered my eyes with both hands he had no choice. It's an irrational fear were I just don't think when I see them. Another time on a feild trip to a swamp preserve with his class some of the kids were saying "cool, look at the boa". The teacher had to put her arms around me and make me walk past the area. So after my shaking was done the tears started... some chaperone I was :)

hammer01: Haha too late! It happened :bonk

My greatest fear is lightning, but it's also my greatest fascination.

Second to that, I'd say being single forever...

I was wonder how long it was going to take before someone used that stupid line...

Anyway, my other fear is not heights :o , but weak/shaky ladders that I always feel I'm going to fall off and get hurt badly, especially the higher I get!....FreeBird, you know what I'm talking about. Sheesh...those things are dangerous! :( I guess it's basically ladders in general....some of the ladders that are like stairs are a little better...but some of those shake more than regular ladders! :(

I think I'm mostly scared of losing someone of my family. I'm also scared that one day I would have the bad luck to get severly burned.

"I see dead people"
That line is not stupid,

it's completely retarded.

Here's something for the mind to chew on. How many people sleep walk or go through that semi-awake semi-asleep stage while your still wondering around but reality is all twisted. Yeah, not many I suppose, but if there were the case, imagine you just lost some people close to you. Now you wish more than anything to see them again. At night you're living in a large house isolated in the middle of nowhere when that semi-awake and semi-asleep stage hits you during the middle of the night. The place is dead silence except for the occasional creaks of the wooden floor, soft blowing sounds from the vents, ticks of the clock, and the tree branch scraping across the glass window. Your wondering around the house with your mind all fogged because your still 1/2 asleep or sleepwalking. Casually, you see those people who have departed you across the room and you strike up a typical conversation with them. Suddenly, you realize, "Aren't you suppose to be dead."

<< jumping like a schoolgirl and shaking my head... >>

Buahahahha :lol I hear ya though. When a darn ugly spider is on me I freak out too. Fortunately I can maintain control if I have to, I think. One time I was in my car driving and something that looked like a fairly large spider slowly set itself down on my sunglasses. aaaaaaaaah! Was I dreaming while I was driving? aaaaaaaaah! Here was a large spider close up and he covered the front right side of my sunglasses! :mad

It was on a busy freeway too so I didn't panic, I just quickly took off the glasses and threw them down on the passenger floorboard and turned off the road when I could. But I couldn't find the spider!! Never did either so when I got home I fumagated my car with raid while I was feeling all over myself for spiders. phoo yuuuuuuuck!

Some funny stories here. "I see dead people" :lol

This is some great discussion Blade.
Not sure what Green turle is getting at there. heh.

This is a bit strange but I cannot look it to a hole or deep pit with water at the bottom. It's weird. If theres no water and can see the bottom I wont freak.. Must be a not knowing the depth thing. Even gets me on games were ya gotta look down and dive into a hole and its just a game on the CRT!

If ya wanna kill me just make me look down into a well and I'll die of a cardiac arrest for sure!

Havin' to be castrated :)

Ok, so I wouldn't call it a "fear" exactly, cause it's not like I wake up every morning thankful my 'member' is still in tact :) I guess I take it for granted :lol ANYWAY!

I would say I fear loosing my parents. I mean, it'll happen one of these days and I accept that' its a part of life and growing and all. I don't necessarily fear death, or I am atleast in denile about it, but it still makes me sad to think my parents will be gone before me... ...maybe? ugh, who's to know.
