If Alex has/had made good on the thread, I would not have edited it and re-opened it. And I am up-to-date on my e-mail so I have sufficient reason to believe that it has not been reconciled to NT's satisfaction.

I myself am fairly new to this fine forum, but I like it. I found out about PCA because the mods are doing such a kickass job. I had recently successfully completed a deal with someone on another board, and received an email from PCA checking on the person I dealt with. They didn't start off accusatory or in any way disrespectful of this individual, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a case of a known troll re-inventing himself. Since that time I have been and will continue to be a regular here. So BigC, I welcome you. Lethal, a bit of a reserved welcome. Good tradin'.

And thanks to all you other gentleman for the kind welcome!!I've done several trades over here ,but not many,mostly all at Anands!!Actually I have a trade still in progress with Undy*hopefully my case makes it intact, fingers crossed* and just finished one up with 1renovation

I haven't heard from DR. NT yet but this is what I get from Lethal:

Lethal says he shipped his package to dr. nt and about 2 weeks later dr. nt emailed him and said he hasn't received it(he lives in Canada). They agreed that Lethal will refund him $100 and whenever dr. nt gets the package he will send it back to lethal.

Lethal says all he had was $50 at that time so he pay pal'd dr. nt that and said he told him he'll refund the rest as soon as he gets it.

That looks like to me he is trying, from what info I have so far. He didn't expect to have to pay anyone $100 so he didn't have it all(he's 16 yrs old). He said he told dr. nt that and he'll refund the rest when he gets it. Even with him not knowing where the package is.

A foolish mistake like that should never have happened in the first place! The advice of more experienced, knowledgable people was ignored by an arrogant newbie mod.

A moderator should keep his ego in check because its not about him! Its about helping bbs members.

First Lethal_[X] was made to be the scapegoat for the ill-advised behavior of Leavitron. Now pops up this sad attempt to get back at Lethal_[X].

Letting trolls reside there has given that forum the reputation it now has. Too bad some there choose not to learn from this experience.

Here is my view on Lethal [X] Alex Richman

What he is telling is the truth, I do believe that he shipped the box, But it has never showed up at my door, if could have been lost or damaged or whatever, Alex I suggest you get in contact with USPS and Canada Post and Investigate.

He has Paypaled me $48 which is half of the money owing to me. I dont want this to drag on for a long time so I would be expecting the money sometime this week. This $50 is not gonna make or break me, if you dont have the money then dont buy it.

I dont think Alex is a troll or whatever, I just think he needs to stop te flamin gon Ars and take a timeout or something.

You know what the problem is with that thread over there? Its like any other "problem with a trade" thread, the one person makes the thread explaining their side of the story and everyone else automatically assumes the other person is a troll and jumps all over the guy. Seems to me lethal came in and explained things and they're working the problems out. People keep saying if you don't have the loot don't buy it.. well the deal was worked out for a trade and the hardware lethal sent went AWOL.. so he's out that hardware. So infact he did have to "money" to purchase the dreamcast(in hardware). But sometimes stuff happens like that. He's doing his best to rectify the problem as far as I can see, just a few people over at ars seemed to cry wolf and jump on the guy relentlessly.

I don't know if there is a past here between lethal and anyone else over there, but as far as I can tell he's an honest trader doing his best. And as long as he isn't a troll he's more than welcome to visit and post here IMHO without the witch hunt crossing boards to smear his name. I can tell you who's not welcome here thats in this thread(in my opinion)... but I'm not going to as its not my place to do so.

Oh, and just to show that I'm not blowin it outta my ass, I'll put my money where my mouth is... if lethal and Dr NT want me to, I'll paypal NT whatever is outstanding in paypal and lethal can owe me as I have money sitting in paypal doing nothing anyway. Just email me if you want this to happen guys. And that way Ars can keep thier dirty laundry over there.
