Hey Kaworu, you know, I like the design of the iBooks (both the new and the old ones) as well as the G4 Titanium, but they're still Macs. I wish more PC companies would think of trying to market and design their laptops like Apple (slot DVD in a laptop.....what a concept!, a lighter laptop than any others out there while still being affordable AND having a DVD/CD-RW.....a miracle!) It's not a knockoff/clone when it is a worthy product, it's not the same color and it's done RIGHT. (PC iMac clones were stupid, while PC iBook/Titanium clones would sell just as quickly as their Mac originals if they priced them the same. I don't know WHAT is stopping any companies from even trying. (I have looked at the different companies that make laptops, and Gateway's Solo 1150 is a close knockoff of the old iBooks, but it's heavier and not as nice.) These Mac laptops are proving that customers will still buy computers even though there is supposed to be a 'slow down' in computer sales. Something I found out, someone actually put Debian Linux on one of the new iBooks (the one in the picture), go here if you're even a little Curious: Linux on an iBook. I also found some very brave Japanese (cue: page is in Japanese) mac people that have done everything under the sun to their new ibooks (everything from coloring them orange to blue to even turning the logo upside down (right side up?). Which reminds me.....what is the deal with the nasty white color of the new iBooks?
