Movies you can see over and over?

Post by blade »

and over... :D

Some I can and never seem to get tired of them. A few I like just going back to certain parts to watch again. Here's some I can never get tired of. Or have them playing as I surf the net.

Aliens
Tombstone
Heat
LA Confidential
Payback(seems to get better each time I see it)
Rush Hour
Blade
Die Hard
Conspiracy Theory
Jurassic Park
True Romance
StarShip Troopers
5th Element
Last Boy Scout
The Hunted
Executive Decision (underrated movie)
Braveheart
From Dusk Till Dawn(I actually like the part before the vampires best)
X-Men
3000 Miles to Graceland

hehe, I guess this turned out to be most of my favorites list.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Many may others, but that is good enough for this thread :D

I haven't watched many movies more than once... I watched the Matrix 3 or 4 times. The only movie I ever really watched a lot was the first Austin Powers. I think I watched it 50 times or something one summer... sort of a long story but I do like the movie :)

Hehe JMan, be careful with that. You may end up seeing a movie far more times than is healthy. In fact, that warning goes for everyone. Take me for instance. At last count I had seen the movie Aliens (yep the best movie ever IMHO) alot of times. Alot being - brace yourselves - 123 times. Haven't sat back and watched it again in a few months, but the need is growing again. In all honesty, I don't think the movie would have been as cool as it is if it weren't for the alien itself. That is, IMHO, the absolute picture of alien to me. Screw Star Trek and its incredibly humanoid aliens. H. R. Giger got it perfect with this one.

But I will admit, that is a psychotic number of times to watch one movie :) . I rented it from the local store for ages until the copy broke way back in the day. Then it came out for purchase and I subsequently wore through 2 more of my own. Now the DVD with new scenes is available and I will be buying it for sure. Now don't get me wrong and think I watch all movies that many times, as I don't. The next closest to that is Interview with the Vampire at the oh so high number of 9 or 10.

Be careful. Re-watching movies can turn into a psychotic habit. You've been warned. Oh and for those of you who may doubt me, ask Tunis. He has seen me quote large sections of that movie from memory without missing a word :E
