I'm looking for a good ripper. Since I trashed my system and can't remember what I used I need some suggestions. Links would be nice also.

I used to use audio catalyst too, the good thing about it is it's easy as hell to use! the bad thing is it's codex sucks...
I just use a regular lame encoder now and make some kick ass mp3's from that. here's a link for more info: http://www.r3mix.net/

Any ripper that uses the LAME encorder will work. Exact Audio Copy is the best ripper IMHO. Here is where you can get a Windows front end for LAME: http://www.mp3dev.org/mp3/
And of course,
Exacct Audio Copy
If you use AudioCatalyst, make sure you don't use it with the Xing encorder. Xing is fast, but you can tell the difference between it and LAME.
