It is new but opened, just wanted to make sure it works fine. It's got a brilliant screen and it's very nice I must say, but I just don't need the color part of it. I like the Ipaq's and thought maybe someone here got in on one of the deals with Staples and/or Circuit City, where some got away getting them for dirt cheap - but now you want color (basically the opposite of my situation
