It's PROBABLY one of the plane's engines. I noticed it in the original footage and that's what I assumed it to be then.
A jet turbine is MASSIVE compared to the rest of the plane.
And I know at least one engine WAS found on the ground a block or so away - I remember one rescue worker mentioning it.

I think it very interesting how much credit people give our military and engineers, a plane that can be flying at such an extreme angle and still has the ability to pull up safely, man that's a feat. If that's a top secret US spy plane then I'm a 5000 pound alien from the sun. I mean, come on the thought that this shot is of an airplane is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever heard of. Why would that plane even need to be there? Is it coming in for a closer look? I am usually very open minded and more than willing to allow others to voice their opinion without persecution but this is just beyond ignorance, I want to throttle whoever came up with this crap, come on, let's put this creative effort to good use, like coming up with new episodes of ER or something.
