FS/FT: Imation (Plextor) external 8/20 SCSI CD-R...complete setup.

Post by C'DaleRider »

Well, my IBM hd died.........again. So, I need a new one....nothing IBM either! I'd prefer Maxtor, Seagate, or some WD's.

I've got an Imation external 8/20 SCSI CD-r, flashed to Plextor with firmware ver. 1.07. The setup includes the 50-pin SCSI external cable, power block, and the SCSI card, an Adaptec AHA-2930.

For prices.....how about $75 for the burner and cable only, $20 for the card.

It has burned possibly 40-50 cdr's (I didn't use it much), works absolutely flawlessly. Has copied anything I've asked it to and has NEVER produced a coaster.

I've also got a 256MB stick of Kingston PC133 ValueRam. Shows as CAS2. $25.

Thanks for your time....... :)

Guess no one can read the title........FOR TRADE! But as soon as I decide to put it up for sale, there will be a price.

As far as the witty, or witless, comments.........I thought the children gravitated towards Anandtech. Guess I was wrong.
