With @home about gone, now which ISP?

Post by blade »

Also netzero has cut off most of us platinum members because according to them we're on the net too much, hehe. So much for the "defenders of the free world" eh. But they were so kind to give us till dec. 30.

So here we have x-netzero and x-home members looking for a new isp. I know most will choose dsl or another cable net, if available.

Here's a few sites to search for a dial-up isp. But if anyone knows any good ones please post them. I've searched and there's things I don't like about them all. Mainly not enough local numbers. I like to have at least 2.

or here to get a better direct link, just enter your state

That's about the best link to low cost ips's, has rating and about them also.

Well IF our @home/Cogeco cable craps out on us here in the Great White North, we can always go to Bell Sympatico for some DSL love. Had it before I got cable, and I will go back ASAP if cable drops. No way in hell am I breaking out the 56k if I don't have to.

My Comcast has been solid since the weekend (see posts in other thread), so it looks like I may be OK. Whew!
