hey guys-


well im sittin here in front of my computer trying to figure out what motherboard i have........i know its an asus and i have via kt 133 chipset.........

other specs

3 pci
1 agp
200mhz fsb
amd athlon 1.2ghz socket a
intergrated ethernet
4usb (2 in back 2 in front)


if yall would help me i would thank you very much. any tips on figuring out is great help. again im a newbee and im expanding my knowledge......(i need to learn how to spell

Look between the pci slots, some mobo's have the name there. Asus starts with a "a7".

You can try looking here http://www.asus.com.tw/mb/mbindex.htm

If that mobo came with a store-bought pc then I'd look at the pc makers site for more info if it isn't listed at asus. ;)

i thought it was but it says a processor up to 1ghz...........and i have an athlon 1.2ghz

If you don't find a model # between the PCI slots or anywhere else on the board you could use the Bios ID string to find out what it is, this site has the info you need to go about how to do it
